Individual Counselling

Even strong relationships can go through difficult times. You might be feeling distant, misunderstood, or caught in the same arguments. Maybe something has changed—stress, an ADHD diagnosis, your career, health, or simply the passing of time—and it’s left you unsure how to move forward together. For some couples, you may already have separated but still want to understand what happened or explore what any future connection or contact might look like.

Couples work isn't just crisis intervention, you may come to me to strengthen your connection, adapt to changes, work through life transitions, or simply understand each other better. Working closely, we can consider how your childhood has impacted your choice of relationship and try new ways of communicating that feel more intimate and nourishing for the relationship.

Couples can find changes in family life, such as children flying the nest, changes in careers, loss and bereavement, can all impact the stability and unsettle a relationship. Adapting and managing these changes and developing a new relationship landscape can be helpful to explore together, developing a new way forward through the challenges.

Couples counselling gives you a chance to pause and reflect, with support. It’s a space to talk openly, listen to each other, and explore the deeper dynamics in your relationship. Whether you’re facing a major challenge or simply want to reconnect, we’ll work together to improve understanding, communication, and closeness—helping you find a new way forward.
